"Happy Me Day"...A Saint. Valentine's Quote??

Rick London, founder and designer of "Shoes That Amuse" makers of the world's only
love quote shoes that also feature graphics of the famous people who said them
made an announcement today regarding Valentines Day.

"I put in my 'to do list' today to design a shoe including St. Valentine and one of his famous quotes. I did some research to find out there were allegedly three St. Valentines and there was not a love quote to be found from any one of the three."

So I thought to myself, "If there had been a holiday, when any of the there were alive commemorating him, what would it say?"

London says the answer came to him immediately "Happy Me Day". So he designed a pair
of women's funky shoes (which U.S. Keds manufactures), including a graphic of one of
the three St. Valentines (when he was a child) and a quote (which is one London made up) on each quarter panel "Happy Me Day".

The rest of his shoe line have actual historical accurate quotes and pictures of the famous poets, writers, or philosophers who said them.

But London says, "This one was just too much fun. What better way to say 'Happy
Valentines Day' than a pair of shoes with St. Valentine saying 'Happy Me Day'? Now
that's walking the walk of love."

Why Women Love Shoes?

I noticed when I was a mere kid that women love their shoes. Mom had 300 pair and dad had about 10. What is it with women and their shoes? I realize every new outfit has to have a new pair of shoes, according to every woman I've been in a relationship with. I am not complaining. I have even decided to design shoes. www.zazzle.com/lovequoteshoes which are rather funky keds with my love quote designs on them. Please let me know your thoughts on why women love shoes. And the more unique, the better. Save my sole. I'm a man.
